Personal data on the training pages
The roster on the week’s page carries each delegate’s name, the institution they come from and the position they hold. Nothing else about an individual is published on the site: no email address, no telephone number, no photograph of a named person, no travel or accommodation detail. Those sit in the delegate booklet, which goes to delegates by email and is not on this site.
Why it is here. The consortium publishes who attends the training its grant funds, so that the record of a publicly funded project is public. Each delegate’s entry reaches this page from the coordinator’s roster, and registration for the week asks each delegate to consent to their data being processed and to appearing in the project’s dissemination.
Who is responsible. The University of Twente is the controller for this page. Write to joerg.osterrieder@utwente.nl for anything on it. The University’s Data Protection Officer answers at fg@utwente.nl, and the University’s privacy statement is here.
Where it can be read. The page is public, so an entry can be read from anywhere in the world, including outside the European Economic Area.
How long it stays. The page remains as the record of the event. An entry comes down on request and does not wait for the week to end.
To correct or remove an entry, including by somebody who was never asked and would rather not appear, email joerg.osterrieder@utwente.nl. It is changed the same day.
When this was written. 3 September 2026. The Work Package 3 lead at the University of Twente reads it again whenever the roster changes and once more after the week, on 17 October 2026.
