Module 4: Green Finance Risk Management - Teaching Materials
UT (University of Twente) Developed by UT and delivered at the Twente WP3 training session, 15-16 October 2026.
This page collects the full set of teaching materials for Module 4: Green Finance Risk Management: a set of from-scratch companion booklets for newcomers, the lecture slide decks, the participant handout, and the interactive online lessons. Every number plotted in the figures is traceable to a recorded source, enforced by an automated provenance gate. A separate citation layer footnotes selected high-risk claims (named attributions, dated events, statistics, studies, and standards) against primary sources that are re-fetched and quote-checked; that layer is being extended chapter by chapter and does not yet cover every claim in the text. Where re-reading a source contradicted the text, the text was corrected; nine such corrections were made in July 2026.

Start-from-Scratch Companions
New to this? Start here.
Seven short companion booklets teach every idea in Module 4 from zero background, assuming no prior knowledge of finance or climate science. Each booklet first defines the words its lesson takes for granted, then builds the core concept in plain language with a single worked example, and finally points you to the matching handout chapter and slide deck. Read the Overview first, then work through the lessons in order.

The agreed description of Module 4, its six topics and its learning outcomes are on the Module 4 description page.
How to use the material
For trainers
The slide decks drive the lecture; the handout is the participant take-home reference; the interactive lessons support self-study before and after the session. Module 4 is developed by UT and delivered in the WP3 training block at Session 1, Twente on 15-16 October 2026. The detailed hour-by-hour agenda for that block is being agreed at the WP3 trainers meeting at the end of July 2026.
