About the CIG Program#
The COST Innovators Grant supports Actions in developing innovation outputs that create societal or economic value. The program provides:
- Funding for innovation-focused activities
- Support for technology transfer
- Resources for stakeholder engagement
- Pathways to market applications
FinAI CIG Application#
Our application focused on:
- Transparent AI Tools: Development of explainable AI frameworks for financial services
- Industry Partnerships: Collaboration with 40+ supporting organizations
- Policy Impact: Translation of research into regulatory guidelines
- Technology Transfer: Moving research outputs to practical applications
Supporting Organizations#
The application received letters of support from organizations across Europe including:
- National banks and regulatory bodies
- FinTech companies and startups
- Research institutions and universities
- Industry associations
Evaluation Process#
The application underwent a two-round evaluation process with hearings conducted in 2024.
